人生起起伏伏，最怕的就是对自己失去信心，对生活失去希望。心中没有斗志的人，只会固步自封、自我阻隔无法成长。而守住初心，在落魄的时候心中依然充满希望，即使是在人生最低谷，也会有再攀上顶峰的一天。就像当年曾在街头卖猪肉的“北大屠夫”

陆步轩出生在1966年，19岁的时候因为优异的成绩成为了区高考文科状元，被北京大学录取
。进入北大之后，他就读于中文系，
1989年毕业被分配到了西安市长安区的一家工厂工作，后来又被调任计经委。
虽然毕业于北大，但是陆步轩的一身才华完全无处发挥。他一天的工作，就是在办公室里写材料，而且还没有编制。这样的生活让陆步轩感到不满，在计经委工作了三年之后，他选择辞职，跟随着改革开放的时代浪潮下海经商。
可是命运却跟他开了一个很大的玩笑，1
992年到2000年，8年的时间里，陆步轩这个集光环于一身的“北大高材生”屡战屡败
。他开过小卖铺、做过服装和装修生意，但无一例外都赔本了。陆步轩开始颓废，抽烟、喝酒、打麻将。丈夫一事无成的样子，让当时陆步轩的妻子决意离婚。后来他遇到第二任妻子，结婚生下一个小女儿，这段感情经历是陆步轩的人生转折点。
第二任妻子并没有嫌弃他，而是让他尝试去做“成本低回本快”的猪肉摊生意。
2000年，为了养活家庭，陆步轩放下自己身为“北大高材生”的骄傲，在西安市租下一个小店面出摊卖猪肉
。卖肉的日子里，陆步轩刻意去避免谈起自己的学历，甚至连报纸、杂志都不看，把自己伪装成一个“文盲屠夫”。北大高材生，这一个原本让陆步轩骄傲不已的头衔，成了他人生的桎梏。
2003年，一则主题关于北大高材生生活落魄，被逼街头卖猪肉的报道在网上蹿红。报道的主角正是陆步轩
，一时间社会的舆论铺天盖地，曾经的北大高材生被人们贬低到了尘埃里。众人对他万般嘲讽，委婉一点的说他“文曲星坠入凡间”，直接一点的说他“丢脸”、“北大毕业卖猪肉”。人们的嘲讽刺痛了陆步轩的自尊，但早已经被生活抹去棱角的他接受了所有的嘲讽，坦言：“我给北大丢脸了。”那么17年已过去。陆步轩现在过得怎么样呢？
自从卖猪肉被报道并且引发关注之后，陆步轩的生活开始好转。
他先是被调入长安区的档案馆工作，然后又写了自传《屠夫看世界》，在书中详细介绍了自己从北大毕业到卖猪肉的经过。
可是体制内稳定的工作，早就已经不是陆步轩的追求了。十几年的“卖猪肉”生涯，让陆步轩的观念有所改变。这个观念的改变，使得他抓住了人生第二次转折的机会。
2008年，陆步轩遇到了另一个“猪肉屠夫”陈生。陈生和陆步轩是北大校友，并且都当过“猪肉佬”。那一年，陈生邀请陆步轩去广州商量开办“屠夫学校”的事情
。两个人志同道合，决定把卖猪肉作为一个正经职业课程，把这个职业所有涉及的东西都编成教材，比如市场营销、营养学、烹饪等等。后来，陈生与陆步轩干脆把养猪也纳入教学的范围
。从养殖到售卖，一条完整的流水线就出来了。
事实证明，北大高材生终究还是高材生，顶尖教育让陆步轩的眼光和学识高于普通人，把卖猪肉卖到另一个层次。
他和陈生推出了自己的品牌“壹号土猪”，从一开始的线下售卖，到如今成立自己的网店，开拓线上销售渠道。陆步轩的“壹号土猪”越做越大，门店开到全国30多个城市，一年的销售额有十几亿。
而陆步轩，也打了一个漂亮的翻身仗。从一个落魄的“猪肉佬”，变成集团董事长，身价上亿。紧跟时代潮流的陆步轩，还开通了自己的抖音账号，平时有空就直播给网友们分享一些有趣的养猪知识。
后记
重新登上巅峰的陆步轩，始终没有忘记自己的母校北大。其实，他回母校做创业演讲的时候，就说出“自己给北大丢脸了”的话。然而，台下的学弟学妹们，以及校长并不觉得他丢脸：
“北大学生可以当科学家，也可以卖猪肉”
。或许是受到了校长的鼓励，陆步轩才真真正正把“卖猪肉”当做自己一生的事业，最终获得了成功。
